4th of July: Live Music & Party. 230+ years of Morocco USA friendship

We’re a Moroccan restaurant, we serve Cajun food and love ourselves a little ole country and blues. Our connections with the USA are stronger than most people realise:

In December 1777, Moroccan sultan Muhammad III included America in a list of countries to which Morocco’s ports were open. With that message to foreign consuls for communication to European capitals,Morocco became the first country whose head of state publicly recognized the new United States. Relations were formalized with the Moroccan–American Treaty of Friendship negotiated by Thomas Barclay, and signed by Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Muhammad III in 1786.
So join us as we celebrate 230+ years of friendship treaty and the
independence day of the USA at Caravan with great live music, New
Orleans cocktail specials and discounts on our Cajun dishes.

The Food:
All of our Cajun (New Orleans) dishes are 30% for the evening. We will also be serving our all Moroccan Merguez for a little extra buzz and spice

The Music
An all acoustic evening with performances by Peter Murchison, Micah McCauley and the Amorocanna duo of Moor Hick which embodies the Morocco-USA connection

The Drinks
Anything New Orleans goes… Hurricanes, Sazeracs etc… We’ll also be throwing in some mean Manhattans for the evening
